wow...havent been here forever. i dont know many people that still uses this. that is fine with me. I am just typing a reminder of Gods awesomeness and grace.  Passion 08 this weekend was awesome.  The praise and Worship was something i lacked for a long time.  I love just being in the presences of God and praising and worshiping.  I am blown away by the messages and the speakers.  I feel my calling is to serve God wherever i can go and wherever i am needed.  One thing that really stuck and hit me hard was about how when difficulties come my way and i question God why?  look to the cross.  walk to the cross.  keep my gaze on the cross and never doubt God.  he has my life in his hands even though i have free choice.  Trust him and go.  The cross gives us evidences of mercy and love and forgiveness.  The main part that i wanted to remember and keep down is this.  I been looking for short term mission trips that i can go to overseas for a while now.  Well i havent been looking but have been wanting to go.  But i never found a way to go or found out about a trip.  But after looking at the Passion website, my heart was just filled with joy when i saw all the opportunities that i have to find and to serve.  I long and want to join a group.  I want to experience the feeling of serving and doing what i love doing.  I want to serve and be used by God.  When Francis Chan said that he had to make a choice between going overseas to serve or to stay home and become a pastor and serve.  My choice would be overseas.  I want to see and experience God like no other.  I want to see people come to God not by words but by actions.  I want to learn to love like God.  I am looking forward to the first chance i get to go and serve on a short term mission.  I dont want to just sit here and pursue a career that sometimes seems meaningless to me.  I want to serve. I want to serve. By writing this out, i am keeping myself accountable to go and serve.

ooook...ill post something...after such a looonggg time...

Gone for the past week...just got home from Shoshone(short term mission to an indian tribe in Nevada)...and it was great!  I went with Arthur, Channing, Jewel, Alferdo, Paul, Justin, and Justin's dad...at least those were the people from FEC Cerritos.  We joined the team that was mainly made up of FEC Glendale people...We went to Shoshone to help lead SBS(summer Bible School)...we had a great time with the kids!!  We had a 4th of July celebration that went pretty well...invited the commuity there to come out to lunch.  We had Chinese dinner night on Thursday night...the whole community came out to the event!!  I got to cook too!!  fun fun!!  Served the community with yummy chinese food...and SBS ended on friday!

i played basketball like everyday...we were so bored at times that we just kept playing for fun and just to get better!  I got better i guess...by a little...but it was fun fun!!  We played games against the Shoshone kids...since Shoshone is at like 5000 ft above sea level...it was tough for us to play there...and they were pretty good!  And we also had a game of softball with them...and there were horses there...you could have ridden one if you wish...it was fun time just to know the kids and teens...as of now i would go back next year if its possible.  But I want to try to start a cerritos Team that would go to Shoshone once a year also!  So if thats possible...it would be great!

when i went to Shoshone...I my goal for the trip was just to be there for the kids i had 2 years ago...i wanted to go back and visit and see them...I had no other real goals or plan for the trip other than that...But i guess God had a plan for me there...I had been busy and just dindt feel like i needed God...and i been pushing him out of my life...and at Shoshone...he showed me his awesome-ness and his wonder...he showed me why i needed him in my life again!!  At Shoshone...since it is in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by mountains and grasslands...it is really easy to meet God!  All you have to do is walk out and sit there...its so quiet and peaceful that you can concentrate on God and only God!  We had this devotion book that was really helpful too!  It just like allow us to concentrate on a certain topic each day!  The devotion book we have was all about communion and submission...we learned to be able to allow others to work and how to control ourselves.  Its been great this week...and i thank God for all he has done and shown me...I am just happy and glad that i was able to go to Shoshone.  This trip was more for my own personal growth than to help lead others to the Lord...What an awesome way the Lord works and makes things perfect!!

Swim Banquet was tonight...it was great...the food was good but i was a little too full by the time we got to eat.  Me and Gloria ran around all day trying to put the coaches gift together...thanks to june and karen for getting charlie and pete's gift.  Then i helped Gloria put together a big picture thingy for coach Paul...and it turned out really nice...the whole night went by well...until we got to the part for the senior gifts...

I never really like thought about leaving high school.  It was just like whatevers...who cares thing to me...then when i got the awards and stuff...i finally felt like its over...i am like leaving high school.  This sucks so bad...i am going miss the water polo team sooo bad...i love those guys...thats the thing that ill miss the most in high school...
